Houston Astros level the ALCS at 3-3 with a win in Game 6

"There will be a Game 7". This statement gets a mixed response from Baseball fans from all around the world. If your team is in the lead you just hope that a game 7 is not required. Yesterday the Astros Defeated Rays in Game 6 and became the first team since Boston Red Sox in 2004 to force a Game 7 after losing the first three games of the series.

The reason for Astros win is Game 6 was how the offence of the team backed off starting pitcher Framber Valdez. Despite that it was the Rays who took the lead in the bottom of the 2nd inning through an RBI double from Willy Adames.

Astros took the lead in the top of the 5th inning when George Springer drove home a 2 run RBI single of Diego Castillo as he took the mound replacing Blake Snell who was furious by the decision and was seen taking out his frustration in the dugout.

Then Jose Altuve drove an RBI double after his shot came back of the ball in the left side and brought home Springer to make it 3-1. Then Carlos Correa whose walk off home run in Game 5 was the reason why Game 6 took place, got an RBI single to make it 4-1 for the Astros. Castillo who made the save in Game 1, gave away 4 runs of just 11 pitches.

The Rays then changed the pitcher for the next inning and gave Shane Mcclanahan the ball. But that didn't change things for the Rays. Kyle Tucker then slammed a solo home run to make it 5-1. There was some face to face confrontation between Diaz and Valdez in the bottom of the 6th inning when Valdez struck him out.

The Astros continued to add runs when a single from Brantley and a sack fly brought in 2 more runs to make it 7-1 and continue their dominance in the game. The Rays then got on the scoreboard in the bottom of the 7th innings through a solo home run by Manuel Margot. He would then go on to slam another home run. A 2 run home run from him in the bottom of the 8th innings to make it 4-7 for the Rays. No runs were scored after that as Astros levelled the series at 3-3.

The Tampa Bay Rays now stand at a chance of a dramatic collapse. They were leading the series 3-0 but it seems that they might got a little over confidence. Only once has a team came back from a 3-0 deficient to win the best of seven series. If the Rays lose the next game they will become that unwanted team with New York Yankees to lose a series despite being 3-0 up.
