Representatives of US,India, Australia and Japan meet for QUAD in Tokyo

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo met with External Affairs Minister of India's S Jaishankar, Australia's Foreign Minister Marise Payne and Japan's new PM Yoshihide Suga in the "QUAD" meeting discussing tensions rising between these countries and China in Tokyo,Japan.

The US showed their concern towards Chinese Community Party and Pompeo said "As Partners in this QUAD, it is more critical now than ever that we collaborate to protect our people and partners from the CCP's exploitation, corruption and coercion. We see it in South and East China Seas,the Mekongs,The Himalayas,the Taiwan Strait."

The Minister's then discussed their economic plans and challenges posed by China and about their responses to the Covid-19 Pandemic. Marise Payne had other things to say though.

On her official Facebook page she shared a post after this meeting saying "Whether It is Individual human rights, markets based economies, countering disinformation or building creater resilience into our supply chains, our common values and interests mean we share a vision for free,open and prosperous Indo-Pacific".

Now India and Japan will look to strengthen the partnership between them with the talk of 5G Network Expansion in India and Jaishankar said he is looking forward to their next meet.
