Sunrisers Hyderabad beat Chennai Super Kings by 7 runs

 

It's 2020. Anything can happen. On Friday Chennai Super Kings made personal history but for all wrong reasons. This lost against Hyderabad meant that they had lost 3 matches in a row for the first time in their history. The now sit at the bottom of the table having won one and lost three matches out of the four they have played.

Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and elected to bat first. They quickly lost the Dangerous Johnny Bairstow as their plan to bat first looked to have failed at the very first step.

Sunrisers didn't manage a great start because of that and were seem to have been struck in the mud. Things got worse for then when they lost set Captain David Warner and Then Kane Williamson on back to back balls as they were reduced to 69/4 after 11 overs.

Now all the pressure was on young players Priyam Garg and Abhishek Sharma. They youngsters tool full use of the opportunity to show their team and the world their talent and capability. The duo added a 77 run Partnership in 42 balls with Garg scoring and unbeaten 51 taking the score to 164/5 in 20 overs. 

With Rayadu being fit,Murali Vijay was dropped from the team but it didn't matter as CSK's openers failed again. After 10 overs CSK had barely managed to score 44 Runs with losing 4 wickets.

Ravindra Jadeja and MS Dhoni kept the scoreboard tiking but it was just out of their hands. Despite a 50 from Jadeja and Dhoni's unbeaten 47, CSK were not able to avoid the Defeat. What's worse to see was Dhoni struggling to stay fit after running two doubles as he was seen taking tablets in the middle of the pitch.
