"All 9 Cops Who "Assaulted" Arnab Goswami Must Be Suspended": BJP

 

The opposition party in Maharashtra,the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) has demanded immediate suspension of all cops who assaulted Arnab Goswami while arresting him.

Rallies And Protests to Free Arnab Goswami on Streets as well as on social media platforms have taken a huge shape. Currently Arnab Goswami has been sent on a 14 Days Judicial Custody.

The Republic TV Editor-in-chief has alleged that he and his family members were assaulted by the police in his residence when they went to Arrest him in connections of the abetment to suicide case that was registered against him in 2018 but was shut down in 2019.

"However when the medical results came out, there was no truth in Goswami sentence's of assaulting him and the claim he made were incorrect," said the Alibaug Court. They said that it was only minor scratches.

Even after that BJP MLA Ram Kadam has said to the governor Bhagat Singh Koshiyari that there should be an investigation on all 9 cops who assaulted him and they should be immediately suspended. He has also said that to protect the fourth wall of democracy he will be on Hunger Strike outside Mantralaya near Gandhi Statue at 10 am tomorrow.

After hearing this, a MLA from Shiv Sena lashed out on BJP and have asked them to stop overacting and creating drama.
