On Wednesday Morning, Hundred of Farmers from Punjab started gathering on the interstate border of Punjab-Haryana to reach Delhi in the "Delhi Chalo" movement, protesting against the three farm laws.
Currently their movement has been restricted at Haryana due to Section 144 of CrPC placed by the Haryana Government.
The Police have nearly arrested 100 farmers by placing them in "preventive custody". As per Police estimates around 2,00,000 farmers are supposed to join this protest from Punjab tomorrow i.e 26th November,2020.
Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU) President Balbir Singh Rajewal in a recent tweet said "We will peacefully block the routes to Himachal and Jammu and Kashmir. We will start the dharna on the roads."
The protesting farmers have threatened to block all roads to Delhi if they are denied permission to travel to Delhi. Earlier the Delhi Police had asked the farmers to not enter the city as they don't have the permission to protest in the national capital.
Road Blockades have been put at several places in Haryana along the routes due to an order from CM Manhor Khattar to ensure "law and order".
The Four Main routes targeted according to sources is Ambala to Delhi, Hisar to Delhi, Rewari to Delhi and Palwal to Delhi.
