Today 12th December,2020 marks the 70th Birthy Anniversary of one of the greatest actors of South Indian Cinema, the Legendary Superstar Rajinikanth.
Born in Marathi family in Bangalore in 1950 as Shivaji Rao Gaekwad named after the great Shivaji Maharaj, Rajinikanth would go on to enjoy an illastrous career in Tollywood and inspiring generation of next Tollywood stars.
He is regarded as one of the greatest and most popular actors in Indian Cinema. For his outstanding work in Film Industry he was awarded the Padma Bhushan in 2000 and Padma Vibhushan in 2016.
He has worked in over 160 films including the Tamil,Telugu,Kannada,Malyalam,Bengali and Hindi Film Industry. He started his career in the 1975 Tamil Film Aproova Raagangal. He made his Hindi film debut in 1984 working as Vijay Kumar Singh in Andha Kanoon.
Recently he also announced that he will launch a political party in the 2021 Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections. He didn't clarify that whether he will contest for the Elections though.
