China and Pakistan Sign Military Deal

According to reports, On Monday China and Pakistan have signed a new memorandum of understanding to strengthen their already close miliary relations.

China's Defence Minister and People's Liberation Army (PLA) General Wei Fenghe visited the Pakistani Armies' Headquarters in Rawalpindi. He was joined in the meeting with Pakistan's Chief of Army Staff General Javed Bajwa.

Pakistani Media have reported that both have discussed "matters of mutual interest", "regional security" and enhanced "bilateral defence collaboration". Ongoing Project under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor in which the role of Pakistani military is of high was also discussed.

General Wei Fenghe also had talks with General Nadeem Raza where as per reports both sides have "reaffirmed their commitment " to "iron brotherhood" and "All Weather "friendship.

Both Countries have a history of tensions with India. The Tensions between India and China have been on a rollout since that clash of Armies in the Galwan Valley in June,2020. Talks between India and China are still going on.
