On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired an all party meeting and told that Indian Manufacturers will be able to produce the much awaited and highly Anticipated Covid-19 Vaccine in the next few weeks.
Speaking about India's Vaccine Preparation he said "Experts believe we don't have to wait for a long period to get vaccine. It is understood that the next few weeks, COVID vaccines will be ready. The Government is waiting for a go ahead from the scientists."
With the United Kingdom ready to start steeply prized Pfizer vaccination from next week,PM Modi said that his government is ready to wait for a vaccine that is made in India.
"The world is looking at cheap but effective vaccine against Covid-19. The world is looking at India.You can be assured our scientist are working hard.8 Covid Vaccines are at different stages of preparedness in India. This includes the three Indian vaccines that are at different stages of trail" he added.
According to PM Modi the first priority for this vaccines will be given to healthcare workers,Frontline workers and old people with comorbidities.
