Trust between Indian Army and China PLA Lost After Galwan Incident

Lieutenant General Anil Chauhan

Speaking on the occasion of Vijay Diwas, Lieutenant General Anil Chauhan has said that the trust between the Indian Army and China's People's Liberation Army has broke down and it will take time to rebuild this trust.

"I would like to say there have been no major intrusions of face-off since in the Eastern Command Area since friction in Ladakh. Post Galwan incident, mutual trust at LAC(Line of Actual Control) between us and China's PLA evaporated and will take time to stabilize" said Lieutenant Chauhan at the National War Memorial in New Delhi.

The ministry on Tuesday released an offical statement saying "In December 1971, the Indian Armed Forces secured a decisive and historic victory over Pakistan Army, which led to the creation of a nation- Bangladesh." Every year on 16th December, the nation observes the Vijay Diwas.

Talks are still going between India and China and the action at LAC has stabilized now. Every since the clash at Galwan Valley, Indian Government decided to boycott Chinese products and to take pride in the AatmaNirbhar Bharat (Self Reliant India) campaign. The Government have also banned over 200 Chinese Apps including PUBG,ShareIT and UC Browser.
