With the Bharat Bandh being only partially in effect, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is all set to meet 2 farm union leaders at his residence at 7pm today.
Thousands of Farmers are protesting the farm laws with an unsuccessful nationwide shutdown on various highways. It is reported that the farmers have already stocked up months of supplies preparing to dig in for months on Captial's border Delhi.
Rakesh Tikait, leader of Bhartiya Kisan Union's Tikait faction said "The Home Minister's office has sent us a message. We will meet him. Efforts to resolve the farmers protests are going on. Our Bandh today has been successful and peaceful."
