NASA Rover, Perseverance lands on Mars;sends home photo of the Martian Planet

After roaming around in space for around 7 months, NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration)'s Perseverance Rover finally landed on the red planet yesterday and Completed a risky mission.

It has landed at the Jezero Crater of Mars and has been aimed to find out whether there were lives forms that ever existed on the planet.

The Perseverance Rover is a robotic geologist and astrobiologist. It will now undergo several weeks of testing before it begins it's 2 Year Mission on Mars's Jezero Crater.

It has been scheduled to carry tests and investigate the ancient lakebed of Jezero and analyse the geology of the region and determine it's past climate. It has also been scheduled to find signs of ancient microbiology life on the planet.
