Taking you down on the memory lane again this Sunday is legendary Bollywood Actor and one of the greatest of all times Shammi Kapoor's 1966 starrer "Teesri Manzil"(3rd Floor)
A musical thriller directed by Vijay Anand and produced by Nasir Hussain, it starred Shammi Kapoor in the lead role along with one of the greats Asha Parekh. The movie also included Laxmi Chhaya,Premnath, Prem Chopra and Helen in other roles. The music which was composed by the great R.D Burman it setted new records and became a hit at the box office. It is ranked in the Top 25 Must See Bollywood Films.
Brief Synopsis-
One day a young girl named Rupa (Sabina) mysteriously falls to death from the third floor of Park Hotel in Dehradun. Before committing suicide she had banged on the door of a drummer who used to perform at Park Hotel named Rocky (Shammi Kapoor).
A year later Rupa's Sister Sunita (Asha Parekh) reveals to her friend Meena (Laxmi Chhaya) that Rupa had written a letter in which she had confessed everything about her life including being in a relationship with Rocky and plans to visit Dehradun and take revenge on Rocky.
What follows is the journey of Sunita falling in love with Anil (aka Rocky), his attempts of not revealing his identity and an intense climax with a perfect ending.
