Twitter erupts as India shows solidarity towards propaganda

In the fastening world of Internet and Social Media, you never know when something can go viral and make you either an instant hit or dirt your own clothes. Yesterday Pop Icon Rihanna, Social Activist Greta Thunberg faced that heat.

The ongoing Farmers Protest in Delhi has caught the attention of billions worldwide. When people thought the Attack on US Capitol by supporters of Donald Trump couldn't be topped, the world witnessed another major riot when some protesting farmers invaded the Red Fort and attacked the police.

Due to this ongoing clashes and Protest, internet services were restricted in areas nearby to avoid further conflict.An article about this news was shared by Rihanna on her Twitter account with the title "why aren't we talking about this?! #FarmersProtest "

Later she was joint by Swedish Social Activist Greta Thunberg who posted the same article with the same hashtag with the title "We stand in solidarity with the #FarmersProtest in India". She also posted a toolkit for those who wanted to amplify with the issue, only for it to be document which contained plans of the 26th January Protest. She later deleted that tweet and posted an updated toolkit.

As the issue started to rise up, the users started using the hashtags #IndiaTogether and #IndiaAgainstPropaganda which was soon followed up several Indian celebrities and ministers.

The Hashtags by given by the Minister of External Affairs of India. MEA also reacted towards Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau so it no surprise they took a stand against it.
