On Tuesday Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Principal Advisor P K Sinha resigned from this post on what is said to be due on personal grounds.
He was appointed as the Principal Advisor post in September 2019 after a brief spell as an officer on special duty (OSD). He was a retired IAS officer of the 1977 batch.
His tenure as OSD to PM Modi lasted just a month from August 2019 to September 2019. Previously he served as the Cabinet Secretary for four years.
