In a very horrific incident yesterday, 4 people in Gurgaon were struck by a sudden bolt of lighting when they were taking shelter from the onpouring rain under a tree which resulted in the death of one person.
According to the officials, the incident occurred at 4:30 pm at Signature Villas in Sector 82. The police have identified the four victims as Ramprasad, Shivdutt and Lali, who worked as gardeners while the fourth one was their supervisor Anil.
All four of them were rushed at Medeor Hospital for treatment. Shivdutt, Lali and Anil are said to be stable and under treatment, however Ramprasad succumbed to his injuries late night on Friday.
The Police in their statement have said "The four men had taken shelter under a tree in the society when it began to rain heavily on friday evening. A bolt of lightning struck the tree and all four of them were injured. They were rushed to the hospital Medeor Hospital, but Ramprasad passed away during treatment on Friday night. He was in the ICU. The other three men are stable."
A video of this incident was caught on the CCTV Camera and was later shared by a Twitter User. In the video the four men can be seen taking a shade under a huge tree before the bolt of lightning struck them. Three of them fell down as soon as the lighting struck, with the fourth one falling two seconds later.
