After posting a farewell message on her Facebook account, merely 36 hours later a 51 Year old Mumbai Doctor died of COVID-19. She has been identified as Dr Manisha Jadhav who was the Chief Medical Officer at Sewri TB Hospital.

On Sunday, Dr Jadhav who was a tuberculosis specialist, made on post on Twitter indicating that she may not survive long.

The situation in the city and the country keeps on getting worse day by day. Yesterday a video message went viral of a traumatized physician, Dr Trupti Gilada who was seen crying.

"We are helpless... Never seen such a situation before.. poeple are panicking. I am heartbroken. Maybe if I tell you what worries me... If I can help you understand, I might be more at peace" said Dr Gilada.

We at the Su-Niti News would like to express our concerns as well. We advice you to stay home, do not go out unnecessarily. Take care of your loved ones. Take the test if you feel the symptoms. Get vaccinated if you are eligible. This battle cannot be won, if we don't fight alongside with the Frontline workers.

For our Frontline and Healthcare workers, we salute you from the bottom of our hearts and thank you for everything you have done from the past year. We pray for your good health.
