Mumbai Police busts Sex Racket; rescues a minor girl

In a shameful act in country's financial captial Mumbai, the police have busted a prostitution racket and with the help of a social worker have saved a 13 year old minor girl. Four people including three women have been held in connection with this case.

The Police had recieved a tip off from a social worker named Asma Lokhandwala. The Police have also arrested a 26 year old customer.

The minor victim is hospitalized and the accused have been booked under the PITA and POSCO Act of the Indian Penal Code and have been remanded in the police custody.

The victim told the police that she would be sent to different customers and would be given Rs 500 out of Rs 1,500 charged by the gang. The police are now searching for similar minor who might have got caught into this dirty trap.
