International Body Builder 'Mr India' Jagdish Lad passes away battling Covid-19

On Friday, 30 April 2021, 34-year-old 'Mr India' Jagdish Lad passed away in Vadodara after battling COVID-19.

For the last four days, the international bodybuilder was on oxygen support in a hospital in Vadodara. He is survived by his wife and a daughter.

Lad has represented his home state Maharashtra and India in several body-building contests.

He had won a silver medal in ‘Mr India’ competition. He has many other achievements to his name including a silver medal at the World Championship.
