Sunday Special:- Remembering Satyajit Ray & his greatest contribution to Indian & World Cinema on his 100th Birth Anniversary

We at the Su-Niti wish and pay our heartfelt tribute to one of the greatest Indian film director, scriptwriter, documentary filmmaker, author, lyricist, magazine editor, illustrator, calligrapher, and music composerSatyajit Ray on his 100th Birthday (2nd May 1921).

As we know, Ray saheb is celebrated for works such as The Apu Trilogy (1955–59), Jalsaghar (1958), Mahanagar (1963) and Charulata (1964) among others.

Though the Legend had won numerous awards but one of the greatest achievement he received was The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences awarded Ray an Honorary Award in 1992 for Lifetime Achievement.
