On Sunday evening, Former Jammu & Kashmir Special Officer Fayaz Ahmed and his wife were shot dead by terrorists who barged into their house at Hariparigam village in Pulwama district and fired indiscriminately.
- Both Ahmed and his wife (Raza Begum) were laid to rest today.
Ahmed's 22-year-old daughter Rafi, who was injured in the gruesome terrorist attack yesterday also succumbed to her injuries at the hospital today, informed Kashmir Zone Police.
- Inspector General of Police (Kashmir range) Vijay Kumar said that two JeM terrorists, including a foreigner, were involved in the killing.
Politicians such as Omar Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti and many others condemned the 'cowardly' terrorist attack. The entire Kashmir valley is saddened by the killing of the family and the act of terror.
