The ongoing fued between the Indian Medical Association (IMA) and Baba Ramdev intensified further when Doctors across the country decided to observe a "Black Day" today in protest against the remarks made by Ramdev on allopathy and modern science.

Several hospital staffs nationwide were seen holding demonstrations, placards and called for his arrest and also demanded an "unconditional open public apology" from him.
This exchange of words started when a video went viral on social media in which Ramdev was heard saying "Modern allopathy is a stupid and failed science."
The IMA later issued a notice and demanded apology from him and added that if he failed to do so he will be forced to pay Rs 1,000 Crore as compensation. Reacting to that notice, Patanjali General Secretary Acharya Balkrishna said that they will give them a "befitting reply".
