A major fire broke out in the Aashiyana Tower, a ground plus six storey residential building in Oshiwara area on Friday morning. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported.
As per the report by the Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB), the fire broke out at the first floor of the Aashiyana Tower at around 7:57 am.
- "Atleast eight fire engines and as many water jetties were engaged in the firefighting operation, and the blaze was doused after over four hours of efforts. The cooling operation is underway at a spot" said a Civic offical.
According to the early visuals, huge plums of smoke was seen rising from the building.
