A 44-year-old woman from Mumbai allegedly jumped to death with her 7-year-old son from her 12th floor apartment on Monday.
According to ANI, the victim Reshma Trenchil left a suicide note in which she accused her neighbours of harassing her by complaining about her son making noises.
During the investigation, the police registered a case against a person who used to live below her and arrested a 33-year-old man. The neighbours mentioned in the note were identified as Ayub Khan (67), his 60-year-old wife and their son Shadab.
According to reports, Trenchil had lost her husband a month ago in May due to COVID-19 and used to live alone with her 7-year-old son at the apartment in Chandiwali and was in depression. They had just shifted in April and reportedly had problems with the neighbours due to their constant complaints.
Her husband worked as a Chief Business Officer was a trading company and had went to Varanasi to treat his parents who had contracted COVID-19. Sadly they passed away and soon after he passed away as well.
