On Wednesday 23rd June,2021 The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) unit of Mumbai arrested Iqbal Kaskar brother of most wanted underworld don Dawood Ibrahim in drug peddling case.
According to reports, Kaskar was arrested for allegedly peddling banned substances into the country. He had smuggled these substances to Punjab from Jammu and Kashmir.
He was deported from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in 2003 and was arrested by the Thane Police in September 2017 for his involvement in an extortion case.
Kaskar has now been taken to the NCB's regional office in Mumbai for further investigation. More Updates to follow.
