TV Actor Karan Mehra makes shocking revelations after getting bail from a case filed by his wife Nisha.

On Monday night, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame TV actor Karan Mehra was arrested following an alleged brawl with his wife Nisha Rawal in Goregaon area. A complaint was filed against him by Nisha after which he was taken into custody but was later granted bail.

• Last month, reports claimed that Karan and Nisha's marriage has hit a rough patch. Back then, the actor had denied the claims.

Recently, DCP Harish Goswami shared details after opening up about the case. His byte can be roughly translated to: "Ek mahila complainant police station main aai thi complaint karne apne pati ke khilaf, Goregaon police station mein. Unke pati ke khilaf case registered kiya gaya hai. Unke background ke baare main abhi hum pata kar rahe hain. Unke sath maar peet hui hain..."

Karan & Nisha on their Son's Birthday

Meanwhile, after getting bail, Karan made some big claims about Nisha. The two have been married for over eight years and have a son together.

• In his interview with India Today, Karan has stated that things have been "a bit strange" between them for a long time and they were now trying to fix things. The actor has also alleged that Nisha and her brother Rohit Sethiya asked him for an alimony amount which was too high when they were trying to sort out their differences.

Karan also shared that Nisha's brother had come to meet him last night and had suggested going the legal way. During the same meeting, when Karan was on a call with his mother, he alleged that Nisha "barged in, started hurling abuses" at him, his parents and his brother. He also claimed that she "started shouting loudly and not only that Nisha even spat on me."

• He also claimed, "She (Nisha) then smashed her head on the wall, and told everyone that I did it." He went on to state that Nisha's brother assaulted him, slapped him, and hit him on the chest too.

While Karan has been sharing his part openly, Nisha has not opened up about the controversy yet. Meanwhile, both the celebs have been quite active on social media and they often feature in each other's posts.
