12 BJP MLA's suspended from Maharashtra Assembly for abusing and misbehaving with Speaker

In a dramatic start to the Monsoon Session of the Maharashtra General Assembly, the house have suspended 12 BJP MLA's for one year for abusing and manhandling the Speaker-in-Chair,Bhaskar Jadhav.

LoP Devendra Fadnavis was also present in assembly and he insisted that these are "false accusations".

The opposition had caused a chaos in the Assembly regarding the OBC (Other Backward Castes) Reservation and alleged that Baskar had not given them enough time to speak. Things went extreme after the House was adjourned.

Speaking to the media Jadhav said "The Opposition leaders came to my cabin and abused me using unparliamentary language in front of Devendra Fadnavis and senior leader Chandrakant Patil. Some leaders even manhandled me."

The BJP on their part alleged that Jadhav had also abused the leaders who went to meet him.

A resolution has now been passed against 12 MLA's of the BJP. The suspended leaders are Sanjay Kute, Ashish Shelar, Abhimanyu Pawar, Girish Mahajan, Atul Bhatkalkar, Parag Alavni, Harish Pimpale, Ram Satpute, Vijay Kumar Rawal, Yogesh Sagar, Narayan Kuche, Kirtikumar Bangdia.
