In today's Sunday Special, we bring to you an interesting & motivational story from Ramayana.
Note:- This story is just a fictitious addition to the actual incidents from the real Ramayana, as no such acts took place in reality.
We all know that Ram-Setu (Shri Rām's Bridge) is a magnificent work of engineering by the Vānar Senā (Money Army) headed by 2 brilliant engineer brothers Nal & Neel.
When Nal & Neel were floating the rocks in the Indian ocean after writing down the name of Lord Shri Rām on the rocks, the citizens of Lanka got scared knowing this incident who then informed King Rāvan.
Then, as per concoctions, Rāvan asked his people to come along with him to the bank of the ocean. Rāvan then wrote his name on a rock and threw it in the ocean which surprisingly also floated.
Later when Rāvan's wife Mandodari asked how he performed the act; saying he was not as capable as Rām. Rāvan answered : "After writing my name on the rock, in my mind I told the rock - I swear you to drown in the name of Shri Rām."
Therefore the moral that we learn from this story is that if you have enough faith in yourself as well in God, then nothing can be impossible to achieve.
