On Sunday, Actor Ghanshyam Nayak, popularly known for his fun loving character of Natu Kaka in one of India's longest running Daily Soap, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah passed away at the age of 77. This news was broked out by seriel Producer Asit Modi confirmed the news on Twitter and wrote 'Om Shanti' along with a picture of the veteran actor.

Nayak was said to be battling cancer was undergoing chemotherapy while also shooting for the show.
