In a shocking incident, on Sunday, Punjabi Singer Sidhu Moosewala was killed by unidentified miscreants who shot more than 30 bullets at his Jeep in Jawaharke village of Mansa district.
As per reports, along with Sidhu Moosewala, two other people were severely injured in the attack at Mansa district in Punjab.
Yesterday on May 28, the Punjab Police ordered the withdrawal of security of 424 people, including Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu aka Sidhu Moosewala.
Sidhu Moose Wala had contested this year's Punjab assembly election on a Congress ticket from Mansa and was defeated by AAP candidate Vijay Singla by a huge margin of 63,000 votes. Vijay Singla was recently sacked by Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann over charges of corruption.
Sidhu Moose Wala sparked outrage last month when he used his song 'Scapegoat' to mock the Aam Aadmi Party and its supporters. In his song, the singer referred to AAP supporters as "gaddar" (traitors).
