Veteran actor Helen to make comeback in "Brown"

Veteran actor Helen is all set to return to the screens with the upcoming drama series "Brown", directed by Abhinay Deo.

The 83-year-old veteran was last seen in Madhur Bhandarkar's "Heroine" in 2012 and has been away from the screens ever since.

• Marking her return, "Brown- The First Case" is a crime drama set in the bustling city of Kolkata based upon Abheek Barua's Book "City of Death". The drama features Karishma Kapoor and Surya Sharma in pivotal roles.

"When I was first approached, what put me at ease was the clarity and assurance the team gave me about my role. I identify with this character and I plan to simply enjoy myself as I return to the set," she was quoted.

The veteran actor got her first breakthrough at the age of 19 in 1958 with the movie Howrah Bridge. She has since marked her name in over 700 films.
