In yet another targeted communalism, six people have been arrested for assaulting four sadhus or religious ascetics on suspicion of being child-lifters in Lavanga village in Maharashtra's Sangli district.
The sadhus have been taken to the hospital.
- The sadhus who belong to Panch Dashnam Juna Akhada in Mathura, were going for 'darshan' to Pandharpur in Solapur after returning from a pilgrimage at Karnataka's Bijapur, where they had asked a child for some help.
As per the police and viral videos, the locals started thrashing them after a ruckus suspecting the sadhus as part of criminal gangs which abduct children.
