Six dead in helicopter crash near Mt Everest in Nepal

On Tuesday, a helicopter operated by Manang Air and carrying a total of six individuals, including a Nepali pilot and five Mexican tourists, crashed in Nepal. The helicopter had been flying to Kathmandu but went missing today morning.

The chopper with the call sign 9AMV got off the radar at 10:12 am. Information Officer Gyanendra Bhul said, 'The chopper was en route to Kathmandu from Solukhumbu and got disconnected with the control tower at around 10 in the morning.'

Police reported that a search team discovered the remains of the missing helicopter and retrieved six bodies near Lamajura Danda, also known as the border between Likhu PK village council and Dudhkunda Municipality-2.
