Kaspersky, a global cybersecurity and digital privacy company, has partnered with KidZania India to launch the Kaspersky Cyber Investigation Centre at KidZania Mumbai, located inside R City Mall, Ghatkopar. The first-of-its-kind cybersecurity role-play centre for children is designed for kids aged six and above, immersing young learners in real-world digital safety missions covering phishing, identity theft, and cyberbullying using Kaspersky's advanced security tools, making it one of India's most distinctive edutainment experiences for children.
The launch addresses a critical online safety concern in India, where 82.2 percent of children have access to a mobile device by the age of 14. At the Kaspersky Cyber Investigation Centre, children suit up in Kaspersky uniforms and work through 20-minute interactive cybersecurity sessions at dedicated workstations, building skills in safe browsing, threat identification, and responsible digital behaviour. Up to six children participate per session, earning KidZos upon completion and receiving a personalised Kaspersky Cyber Investigator card. Families visiting KidZania Mumbai will also receive a complimentary two-month Kaspersky subscription with ticket purchase, while KidZania Annual Pass holders benefit from a one-year subscription.
"Through a playful, immersive experience, children in India can step into the role of Cyber Investigators, learning about the most common risks of the digital world and discovering the best cybersecurity tools that help protect our digital lives. This is what the cyber heroes of tomorrow will look like," said Jaydeep Singh, General Manager for India at Kaspersky.
He further added, "At Kaspersky, we believe that cybersecurity is not just a technology challenge, it is a human one. The earlier we equip children with the awareness and skills to navigate the digital world safely, the stronger our collective digital future becomes. Our partnership with KidZania brings this vision to life in the most meaningful way possible by making cybersecurity education immersive, engaging, and genuinely fun for children. We are proud to launch the Cyber Investigation Centre in India, and we look forward to inspiring a new generation of digital defenders."
Tarandeep Singh Sekhon, Chief Business Officer at KidZania India, added, "Every parent today is thinking about how to prepare their child for a digital-first future. At KidZania, we translate those concerns into meaningful experiences. Partnering with Kaspersky, a global leader in cybersecurity, allows us to ensure that children are not just aware of the digital world, but equipped to navigate it safely and confidently."
The grand launch event at KidZania Mumbai followed the brand's signature show flow, featuring a Diya lighting ceremony, key handover, grand parade, and ribbon-cutting at the new centre.
