 Its an end of an era for Cricket Fans. Legendary Indian Cricketer, Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has announced his retirement from International Cricket via his Instagram handle where he shared a video of his moments.

Born in Ranchi and making his debut in 2004 and he got run out on his international debut and he was run out in his final appearance in international Cricket as well against New Zealand in the World Cup 2019.

Under his leadership, India went on to win the inguaral World T20 in 2007, winning the final Against Pakistan. He then led India on home soil to World Cup Glory in 2011, ending India's wait of 28 years for the World Cup. In 2013, India went on to win the 2013 Champions Trophy, making him the only Captain to lift the 3 major trophies.

He led India to Asian Cup as well winning the Cup in 2010,2016 and 2018. His IPL Career was also legendary leading Chennai Super Kings to the 2008,2010,2011,2012,2013,2015,2018,2019 finals winning it in 2010,2011 and 2018.

Nicknamed "Captain Cool" he is known for his calm behavior on the pitch despite the consequences. He is also a known as a great wicket keeper having records for the fastest dismissal in the form of Stumps. Many Claim as there might not be any other Wicket keeper who can match him.
