| The 6 Time Footballer of the year does not want to play for FC BARCELONA anymore |
The ongoing saga between Lionel Messi and FC Barcelona keeps on giving. As reports emerge from Barcelona, Lionel Messi didn't appear at the PCR Testing scheduled today as he had mentioned in his fax by his lawyers that he won't show up.
Messi believes that he is right in his arugment where he has a clause in his contract, that he can leave for free anytime he wants it. He thinks he has used that clause and does not sees himself as a Barcelona Player.
FC Barcelona on the other hand, do not share they same opinion as they think Clause had expired in June and is no longer valid.
It is still not clear what the club will do as they haven't spoken about it publicly yet. Their current stance is that they are unwilling to sell him for less than his release clause price of €700 million.
Even Luis Suarez showed up at the PCR Testing despite being informed by new manager Ronald Koeman that he doesn't see Suarez in his future plans.
This action by Messi means he won't be able to attend Barcelona's training session on Monday and might have to pay a fine. Reports suggest that Messi had already made up his mind to not to play for Barcelona again and wants a reunion with former Manager Pep Guardiola at Manchester City as he is interested in City's Project for the future.
