| The fog of the blast as seen from distance |
A reactor Blast on Monday took place in Boisar town of Palghar. The blast has said to take place around 7:30 pm in the Nandolia Organic Chemicals Private Limited(NOCPL).
It is said that certain chemicals were mixed in the reactor and this led to a deafening blast which was audible to several kilometer in the vicinity of the factory in Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation(MIDC) in the town with top officals like tehsildar Sunil Shinde rushing to the spot.
One labourer named Sandeep Kushwaha has been declared dead while 4 other labourer are injured in that blast. They are Mohammed M Altaf 30, Dilip Gupta 28, Umesh Kushwaha 22, Pramod Kumar Mishra 35, who all have been taken to Tunga Hospital in Boisar.
The police and fire brigades agencies are now Investigating the detailed cause of the NOCPL plant blast which has shocked many people.
