The New Football season is upon us. After a brief 5 month pause due to COVID-19 Pandemic, the Leagues returned and finished the 2019-20 season but now it's time to start the 2020-21 season.
We start of with the best team in the world right now. European Champions and Treble FC Bayern Munchen. Bayern ran away last season, destroyed everyone on their part and clinched a 2nd 'Treble' by winning the Bundesliga,the DFB Pokal Cup and the UEFA Champions League.
The kicked of the Bundesliga Season aiming for their 9th Consecutive German League Title against FC Schalke. The first game of the season turned out to be 8-0 demolition of Schalke by the Hands of Bayern, as they started the new season from where the left off last season.
Serge Gnarby grabbed a Hattrick as New Signing from Manchester City,Leroy Sane grabbed a goal and assisted 2 to Gnarby against his former club. Robert Lewandowski wasn't going to just watch as he scored from the penalty spot to open his account. Thomas Muller,Leon Goretzka and Jamal Musiala all were on the scoresheet for Bayern.
In the Premier League, Everton made it 2 wins out of 2 after they Defeated 10 men West Brom 5-2 with a Hattrick for Dominic Calwart Lewin and Goals from Centre Back Micheal Keane and Midfielder James Rodriguez, the latter scoring his first Premier League Goal after arriving from Real Madrid.
Leeds United Lost 4-3 at Anfield a week earlier. They were involved in the same scoreline of 4-3 but this time on the right side of it as the saw out other promoted team Fulham. After Mitrovic had levelled from the spot for Fulham after failing down 1-0 inside 5 minutes, Leeds would go on to add 3 more goals to lead 4-1 at the 57th Minute. However Fulham were not down just yet as 2 goals inside 5 minutes from Bobby Reid (62th minute) and Mitrovic (67th minute) made it 4-3 with 23 minutes yet to be played. Leeds were able to hold on and grab a first win in the Premier League since 2004.
After a not so great season last year and a troubled Transfer season with other problems, Manchester United hosted Crystal Palace at the Theatre of Dreams,Old Trafford. United lost the last time they played Palace at Home, and were eager to make a positive start.
All fell down quickly for United as defence problems at the back continued after just 7 minutes when Andros Townsend stroke his effort past De Gea to give Palace the lead. United didn't great too many chances as they looked frail at front.
Former United Player and Palace's Tailsman Wilfried Zaha scored from the Penalty spot in the 74th minute after the penalty was re taken due to De Gea's error according to the officals. United made it 2-1 thanks to new signing Donny Van De Beek but all hope was lost when Zaha grabbed his second of the match to kill the game at the 85th minute.
It was a great Saturday for Tottenham and their fans as they completed the signing of CB Sergio Regulion and former Tailsman Gareth Bale both from Real Madrid as the latter joined on a loan spell after leaving for Madrid in 2013.
