Jaya Bachchan hits back at Ravi Kishan' statement of Bollywood Industry suffering Drug Addiction

 

Veteran Actress and Samajwadi Party leader Jaya Bachchan has become the talk of industry and is trending on Twitter for her statement which she released against BJP MP and Bhojpuri actor Ravi Kishan after he said there is a drug addiction problem in Bollywood Industry.

She said in the parliament that "Just because of some people you cannot tarnish the whole industry. I was really embarrassed and ashamed that yesterday one of our members in the Lok Sabha who is from the industry spoke against the film industry. Jis Thaali mein Khata hain usi mein cheed karta Hain(they are biting the hands that feeds them)".

On Monday Kishan had raised his voice in the Lok Sabha in allegations of use of drugs and their addictions in the Bollywood Film Industry that has surfaced through the investigation of the suicide case of Sushant Singh Rajput.

Bachchan would say that these allegations were being made only to divert the mind of people of the country from real issues such as unemployment and economy.

She would later add "People who have made a name in this industry have called it a gutter. I completely disagree and I completely disassociate". She would also go on to slam social media users for targeting and abusing entertainers by using hate and foul language without knowing the real cause.
