Biggest World War II Bomb Found in Poland;Blasts underwater while defusing

On Tuesday Poland made a shocking discovery of the biggest World War II bomb which exploded under water when Navy divers tried to defuse it. 

When found out about this, around 750 people had been evacuated from the area near Piast Canal outside the town of Swinoujscie where the Tallboy Bomb used by Britian's Royal Air Force was found. It is said to be weighing at 5,400 kg where around 2,400 kg is explosive.

According to reports from Poland, Second Lieutenant Grzegozr Lewandowski said "The deflagration process turned into detonation.The object can be considered as neutralised,it will not lose any more threat". He added that all the mine divers were out of the danger zone.

A spokesperson of the town's mayor(Swinoujscie) told to news agency that no one is harmed and no damage has taken place and everyone is safe. It is said that this bomb was dropped by the RAF in 1945 in an attack on German cruiser Lutzow.
