On Saturday, the Narcotics Contral Bureau (NCB) after getting a tip off have arrested a unnamed TV Actress and a drug dealer from Andheri after she was allegedly seen buying it from him.
The agency and the police have not disclosed her name but the Drug Dealer has been identified as Faisal (20). She was seen buying 99 grams of Ganja(Marijuana). While questioning the police found out that the drug was sourced from a person named Deepak who was later arrested.
NCB will now be conducting a probe under this case and all Accused are registered under in a case under the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances(NDPS) Act.
The usage of drug in TV and Film Industry has come into the light of NCB and Mumbai Police after the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. While Investigating his death, the link of usage of drug in Bollywood Industry started to merge up with many prominent names being called for questioning.
