On Monday the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) raided the house of former Karnataka Minister Roshan Baig in the morning regarding the IMA Ponzi Scam. He was arrested on Sunday for his role in this scam.
A disqualified member of the Congress,he was intially summoned by the CBI for questioning based on the evidence. According to the sources by CBI,He arrived at the office around 11:30 am and was questioned for 7 hours. He was then proceeded against a special court judge at his Kormanagla Residence.
The CBI had filed a chargesheet in October. Before the CBI took over this case,the previous team Investigating the case had questioned him in July 2019 when he said he knew Khan for 5 years but insisted that he has no financial link with him.
