In an heinous act which goes beyond Humanity, a luxury bus driver from Mumbai allegedly rapes a 4 year old girl inside the bus. He then stuffs her in a gunny (Jute) sack and threw her at a lonely spot near a petrol pump on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Highway.
The girl would later consciousness and started moving around in the sack,which the locals noticed and informed the Police. She is now undergoing treatment at the Sir DM Petit Municipal Hospital in Vasai.
The incident took place in Bhayander. Senior Police Inspector Chandrakant Jadhav of Bhayander Police Station said that the survivor was playing in the luxury bus parked near Bholaram Slum in Bhayander (West) when the bus started moving. The other childrens were able to get down except her.
After noticing the minor, the driver parked the bus in an isolated place and committed this heinous act. Then he strangled her and stuffed her in a gunny bag thinking she was dead after she felt unconscious.
After the girl didn't return home,her mother launched a complain for search operation in the nearby Police Stations. After checking CCTV footages from nearby area, the Police identified the Accused driver on Monday.
He has been booked under the IPC Section of 376(2)(i),376(3)(rape), 307(attempt to murder), 363(Kidnapping). He had been produced before the Thane Court and has been remanded in Custody till 28th December.
