Some areas will get a 15-25% water cut for 24 hours, there will be 100% complete water cut in pocket areas of Ghatkopar and Sakinaka.
The Civic Body has said that they will be carrying out repair and replacement work at water reservoirs which is precisely the reason for this water cut. BMC will be repairing the Chlorine Injection Point between Agra Road Valve Complex to Paygaon,Yevai on December 22.
It has also been reported that the Civic body workers will also be replacing the 1,400 mm valve of the main aqueduct at the Ghatkopar High Reservoir resulting in cuts in the N Ward.
Mumbaikars have been advised to store water in advance and use tap water sparingly on the two days.
