Wearing Mask Compulsory For The Next 6 Months: CM Uddhav Thackeray

 


Chief Minister Udhaav Thackeray on Sunday said that wearing of masks will be mandatory for the next six months in the state. While addressing an array of issues including Covid-19 and the metro shed project, he said that the experts are in favour of imposing Night Curfew though he is against it as he believes that the state is under control though not completely.

On Saturday, Maharashtra reported 3,940 new COVID-19 cases. Though the COVID-19 situation has improved remarkably in the past few months, the experts have warned people to not to lower thier guard as a second wave of cases is anticipated in January-February.

"Prevention is better than cure. Wearing of mass at public places should be made a habit for another six months atleast."

Addressing issues of the Maha Vikas Aghadi he said "On November 28, the state government has completed one year. Many were hoping it would fall,but the government not only completed it's first year but also faced the most difficult situation,the state government has faced in the last 100 years."
