Fight breaks out between Civilians and Farmers at the Singhu Border

On Friday Afternoon, a huge clash broke out between the Civilians and the Farmers protesting the farm laws at the Singhu Border. The Police then had to resort to use teargas and batons to break up the fight.

The Singhu Border has become a prominent site in the protest of Farmers against the farm laws. Following the horrific events on Republic Day,the local Civilians have now demanded the farmers to evacuate the place and stop the protest as they are facing difficulty everyday in crossing the border.

The fight is said to have broke out when one of the locals alleged that farmers had "insulted" the National Flag during the tractor parade on Republic Day.

Soon arms were thrown on as the fight started. Stones were thrown from different angles. During the fight Delhi Police SHO(Alipur) Pradeep Paliwal was brutally injured with a Sword. He has suffered 3-4 wounds due to that attack by the sword. The attacker has been arrested and the sword has been detained by the police.

Following this clash several districts of Haryana including Ambala and Panipat have seen there Internet Services restricted till midnight.

Where else yesterday night at the Delhi-Ghaziabad,BKU leader Rakesh Tikait has alleged refused to go down and evacuated the place of Protest. He has also called back the farmers who had left with their tractors and has said that he is ready to answer the challenge by the Police and the Supreme Court on Friday.
