India and China to hold 9th Round of Military Talks tomorrow

According to offical reports it has been reported that India and China will have a 9th Round of military talk with each other tomorrow i.e 24th January,2021 over the border tensions in eastern Ladakh.

Ever since the incident at the Galwan Valley in June 2020, there has been a high level of tensions between the two neighbouring countries over the Line of Actual Control (LAC).

This time the meeting will be held at Moldo on the Chinese Side of the LAC. This will be the first meeting since November 6,2020. The talks last time failed to make a major Breakthrough.

During the 8th Round of Talks between the two, both said that they will ensure their Frontline soldiers to "exercise restraint and avoid misunderstanding and miscalculation" along the LAC.

According to the experts the deadlock in talks remain due to major differences between the two sides on the conditions of disengagement. Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane recently said that the Indian Army is prepared to hold it's ground in Eastern Ladakh "for as long as it takes".
