Yesterday School Education Minister Varsha Gaikward ended the Speculations of exams as she announced the dates for the upcoming board exams of Class X(SSC) and Class XII(HSC).
The HSC exams will start from April 23 and conclude on May 29 whereas the SSC exams will be held from April 29 to May 31. The results of HSC are expected to be out by end of July while SSC results are expected to be out in the last week of August.
Gaikward has told the Mediapersons that practical examination for HSC students will be held from April 1-April 22. Meanwhile the Practical exams for SSC will between April 9 and April 28.
All the exams will be in Offline format held in Different centres and will follow COVID-19 Guidelines. She also said that if any student is required to be quarantined during the period of examination,then will be eligible to appear for re-examination which will take place after main board exam.
The syllabus has been reduced by 25% to unburden the stress on students.
