Reacting to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's comment on MSP(Minium Support Price), Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader Rakesh Tikait has said that they won't allow business over hunger and has also asked for a new law in the MSP.
Speaking to the reporters Tikait said in Hindi "There will not be business over hunger in the country. If hunger goes up,price of crops will be decided accordingly. Those wanting business ovee hungry will be driven out of the country."
He also added that the price rates of crops will not fluctuate several times a day. "The way,flight tickets fluctuate three to four times a day, the price of crops will not be decided the same way."
He also slammed the attempt of division of the movement of farmers into a caste or religious matter. "This movement was first portrayed as Punjab's issue, then Sikhs, then Jats, so on and so forth.The Farmers of the country are united. There is no small farmer or big farmer. The movement belongs to all farmers."
