We at the Su-Niti News pay our heartiest wishes to the super handsome & down-to-earth Legendary Actor-Producer Shashi Kapoor Sahab on his 83rd Birth Anniversary (18th March 1938).
Youngest among Kapoor brothers, Shashi Ji was the humblest human being one can rarely find in Indian Cinema history. He was a true gentleman and a great support to even the smallest of technicians and lesser known artists.
Shashi Sahab was not just an actor and film producer but was also a film director. Beginning his career as a child artist in 1948 film Aag, Shashi Ji acted in over 175 films in Hindi and English films as the lead hero as well as in cameo roles.
Shashi Ji was also widely acclaimed in Hollywood especially for films such as:- Shakespeare Wallah (1965) (opposite his sister-in-law Felicity Kendal), Bombay Talkie (1970) and Heat and Dust (1982), etc.
He is the recipient of several awards including the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, three National Film Awards, and two Filmfare Awards.
The Legend passed away on 4 December 2017 but will forever be alive in the hearts of cinema lovers and his near and dear ones.
