On Wednesday, a jewellery shop owner in suburban Dahisar of Mumbai was shot dead in a three men store heist.
The incident took place at about 10:45 am when three robbers entered the Om Sairaj Jewellery Store at Gavde Nagar in Dahisar East. Upon arriving they started to open fire killing the owner identified as Vikas Pandey (46).
After killing the owner, the three unidentified accused then collected as much jewellery as they could and fleed the spot on a grey scooter.
According to the police, they have managed to get the description of the the accused and are waiting for more details from the CCTV cameras installed in the shop.
